Description

SIX’s award-winning market and reference data is integrated directly into the Avaloq Banking Systems through its flagship Valordata Feed (VDF), and apiD, which is specifically designed to fuel external applications with data.

This means that clients can reduce cost, risk and administrative overheads while ensuring the highest possible quality of data and consistency from the front to the back office.

The interface with VDF comprises various options including updates of reference data, corporate actions, price data and regulatory information for a customisable list of instruments. Reference data can be managed from automatic creation through to subsequent updates in the customer’s own workflows.

Through the integration with apiD, front office users can automatically import basic instrument data directly into the Avaloq Banking System. As a result, new securities can be traded almost instantly, while ensuring the appropriate middle and back office controls can be supported.

SIX data also powers ImpaQt, the risk and portfolio optimization engine delivered by Swissquant and integrated into Avaloq’s Wealth Advisory Module.

Aggregated in real-time from 1,500 worldwide sources, SIX’s data offering covers all the major trading venues. The database includes structured and encoded reference and market data, corporate actions, regulatory data and pricing information relevant for the wealth and asset management industry.
