DevOps Engineer (Jira and Confluence)
A bit about the role
Your Team
The team is looking for a committed and competent DevOps Engineer, who will join our Engineering Division - the strategic applications team designs, which runs services across all the Avaloq businesses. We maintain a high level of quality, pay attention to details and deliver by bringing software into production.
You will work closely with technology vendors, infrastructure providers and the software development division to provide world class services. You will continuously work on technical and process improvements, keeping both incremental and disruptive options in mind.

As part of the team, you will contribute to the global delivery of our highly valued Engineering services and shape the future!
Responsibilities:
- You must be able to understand and implement the needs and requirements of our internal and external clients
- Troubleshoot incidents affecting the software development application stack
- Coordinate requirements with different user groups and vendors
- Take responsibility in interdisciplinary projects and in a broad application landscape
- Synchronize your work with international teams
A bit about you
What you need
We are looking for an experienced person in the Atlassian environment, i.e. a Atlassian certification for Jira and/or Confluence, with at least one to two years of experience with system administration/configuration for Jira and Confluence.
- Depth know-how of administrating and configuring Jira (Software and Service Management) and Confluence
- Experience in integrating third-party systems and plugins with Atlassian products
- Completed higher education in the IT area or comparable qualification
- Can work independently and reliable
- Good communication skills in writing as well as verbally
You will get extra points for the following
- Basic Unix system knowledge & experience, preferably centos and/or RHEL
- Basic database knowledge (e.g., SQL)
- Basic network understanding and troubleshooting with good knowledge of ssl/tls protocols
- Setup and configure virtual hardware (vSphere / cloud experience) and infrastructure
