A bit about the role

You will be part of the Treasury team which is responsible for our modules which handle all kind of FX and OTC transactions, but as well securities lending and borrowing, repurchase agreements, collateral management and cash management. The Treasury team is part of the Investment Transactions domain within the Avaloq Core Platform division and has currently a strong focus on extending our collateral management and securities lending and borrowing functionality.

Your key tasks

  • Specifying new functionality in collaboration with Software Developers, Partners and Clients
  • Analysing and following-up customer inquiries about the modules in the Treasury space
  • Maintenance of existing functionality
  • Supporting developers during implementation, including testing
  • Testing and quality assurance for new functionality and system corrections
  • Updating product documentation in collaboration with our Technical Writers
  • Acting as the contact person concerning functional questions
  • Supporting consulting projects and workshops with customers and partners

A bit about you

  • Strong proven track record in a similar role with Foreign Exchange and OTC transactions is a must.
  • Open-minded, team-oriented, and communicative personality with a structured and autonomous approach to work
  • Being eager to learn and to take on new challenges
  • Ability to understand, abstract, and specify banking processes and requirements

It would be a real bonus if you have

  • Knowledge of Avaloq Core & Front Platform with certification
  • University or FH degree in business information systems, banking / economics or equivalent
  • IT affinity / experience in software development / technical skills
  • Ideally you will have professional communication skills in German
