A bit about the role

Your team:

We are looking for a dedicated and high-performing Senior Sales Manager to play a key role in driving our customer acquisition and sales growth targets in Germany. Working from our Berlin or Düsseldorf office, you will be a self-driven professional with leadership experience and a proven track record in new customer sales. Surrounded by a team of highly qualified and dedicated colleagues such as Solution Consultants, Key Account Managers, Marketeers and also experts from various banking speciality teams, you will shape and drive new business initiatives.

Your key tasks:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies, tactics and action plans to achieve sales targets in the assigned region (DE&AT)
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the region, including customers, prospects, partners, influencers and competitors
  • Support organization of and participate in events to raise awareness of Avaloq in the region
  • Analyze pipeline and lead data, producing regular reports with key business insights such as demand generation, pipeline forecasts and trends, conversion rates, target accounts, market segmentation, win/loss, solving the sweet spot between new client acquisition, partner management, market development and strategy to best represent Avaloq in the market

A bit about you

  • Strong track record of sales success in software for financial institutions, wealth management and core banking industry and excellent negotiation skills, business acumen and leadership with the ability to motivate and manage a team
  • Proven expertise in the workings of a bank, the processes and the day-to-day challenges at various decision-making levels
  • Extensive experience in business development and go to market strategy functions with sales leadership experience, meeting or exceeding targets is recommended
  • Proven success working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and the ability to negotiate complex deals
  • Proven financial acumen: use of financial analysis to make decisions, evaluate opportunities and possibilities; knowledge of how financial decisions impact business performance
  • Fluency in German and English
