A bit about the role

You will be part of the Integration & Output CH/FL team, helping financial institutions to integrate the Avaloq Core Banking system within a wide ecosystem. We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer with a solid academic background and eager to learn multiple technologies in a complex and challenging ecosystem.

Your key tasks

  • Implement, test, and technically document features of SpringBoot microservices
  • Implement, test, and technically document features of Spring applications
  • Hands on experience in JBOSS application server administration
  • Hands on experience in Angular
  • Write technical documentation, analyse, and resolve incidents and issues
  • Configure and support of software solutions in OpenShift
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to define the implementation of the software
  • Collaborate with multiple teams for troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Analyse and resolve software defects
  • Provide third level (L3) support

A bit about you

  • Degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience working with Java
  • At least 2 years of experience working with Spring Boot
  • At least 2 years of experience working with JBoss Application Server
  • At least 2 years of experience working with GIT
  • Clear understanding of the full Java/Spring development life cycle
  • Experience working with REST API
  • Experience in Linux shell scripting
  • Experience in Agile processes
  • Analytical, solution driven, keen to details, ability to work with a team and above all has the passion to drive change.
  • Strong communication skills (proficiency in English)
  • Eager to learn and take on new challenges

It would be a real bonus if you have

  • Knowledge of banking / finance is a plus
  • JIRA knowledge is a plus
