You will be part of the Integration & Output CH/FL team, helping financial institutions to integrate the Avaloq Core Banking system within a wide ecosystem. We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer with a solid academic background and eager to learn multiple technologies in a complex and challenging ecosystem.
Your key tasks
- Implement, test, and technically document features of SpringBoot microservices
- Implement, test, and technically document features of Spring applications
- Hands on experience in JBOSS application server administration
- Hands on experience in Angular
- Write technical documentation, analyse, and resolve incidents and issues
- Configure and support of software solutions in OpenShift
- Collaborate with multiple teams to define the implementation of the software
- Collaborate with multiple teams for troubleshooting and problem solving
- Analyse and resolve software defects
- Provide third level (L3) support
A bit about you
- Degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience working with Java
- At least 2 years of experience working with Spring Boot
- At least 2 years of experience working with JBoss Application Server
- At least 2 years of experience working with GIT
- Clear understanding of the full Java/Spring development life cycle
- Experience working with REST API
- Experience in Linux shell scripting
- Experience in Agile processes
- Analytical, solution driven, keen to details, ability to work with a team and above all has the passion to drive change.
- Strong communication skills (proficiency in English)
- Eager to learn and take on new challenges
It would be a real bonus if you have
- Knowledge of banking / finance is a plus
- JIRA knowledge is a plus
