A bit about the role

Your Team

Within a small multi-national team of very experienced Vendor Managers, we orchestrate all purchasing activities of professional services for Avaloq globally. We ensure the best fitting consultants for the whole Avaloq project portfolio. We can rely on a broad range of preferred suppliers that we meet and monitor regularly to guarantee the best value for money. We also identify the best-fitting Implementation Partners for our Clients. Together with Avaloq Academy we ensure that our Partners meet the highest quality standards for implementing Avaloq projects globally.

Your key tasks

  • Requesting consultants-proposals from our broad range of preferred suppliers
  • Closely monitoring all incoming and outgoing requests for external staff while interacting with internal stakeholders and preferred suppliers
  • Supporting the demand management
  • Ensuring a proper and timely contracting of the selected consultants in close collaboration with associated teams
  • Continuously monitoring suppliers’ quality and regularly checking the Partner’s requirements fulfilment

A bit about you

  • Min. four years of experience in procuring professional services, including rate negotiations
  • Closely collaborating with European-based Consulting companies or Banks for at least three years
  • Excellent English communication skills, both orally as well as in writing
  • Master complex Excels and databases in a professional manner with proven certification
  • High motivation and drive in bringing topics forward even in challenging situations

It would be a real bonus if you have:

  • Hands-on experience in sourcing or procuring of external consultants
  • Expertise in other procurement areas
  • Excellent MS Office application skills and solid experience with relevant software, e.g., SAP, SmartRecruiters, automation tools (esp. Microsoft Power Tools), etc.
